Tina Summerlin

Tina Summerlin has been working in arts administration in New York City since the early 1980’s. She worked with the photographers Annie Leibovitz and Robert Mapplethorpe, and then became the first Executive Director of the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation. For 20 years, she worked with the Civitella Ranieri Foundation, an artist residency program in Italy, running their NY office, and is currently working with Artists’ Fellowship, Inc., giving emergency grants to professional visual artists in need.
